The Swedru-based club boosted their relegation survival chances, after securing a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
After an evenly contested and goalless first half, it was the hosts who struck first, with Faruk Mohammed breaking the deadlock five minutes after the restart.
However, goals from Rudolf Mensah and Zayat Bubakari ensured Swedru All Blacks secure maximum points in Tema.
“We want to thank God for such a wonderful victory. We also appreciate our technical team and my teammates for this win. We came into the game determined to win, and by God’s grace, we achieved it.
It was a great opportunity for me to score the equaliser, which helped inspire the team to go on and secure the victory.” He said after the match.
The result sees Swedru All Blacks move level on 38 points with their hosts, while Vision FC’s five-match unbeaten run comes to an end with only their second home defeat of the season at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.
