Ghana's wonder boy Prince Amoako Junior draws interest from Europe's elite clubs
· GhanaSoccernetBefore the start of the season, expectations were already sky-high around Ghanaian teenager Prince Amoako Junior, and the early signs suggest the hype was fully justified.
The Nordsjaelland prodigy, a graduate of the renowned Right to Dream Academy, has wasted no time announcing himself on the Danish Superliga stage.
Amoako Junior needed just four minutes of top-flight football to score his first Superliga goal, putting Nordsjaelland ahead against FC Fredericia.
He went on to register an assist in the same match, underlining his immediate impact and composure despite his young age.
That explosive debut quickly endeared him to the Farum faithful, who have since nicknamed him the “Prince of Farum.”
Blessed with pace, close control and fearless dribbling, the Ghanaian youngster has become a fan favourite and one of the most exciting attacking talents in Denmark this season.
His strong start has not gone unnoticed beyond the Superliga. According to information from Danish outlet Tipsbladet, several major European clubs have been monitoring Amoako Junior closely, with interest emerging as early as August.
Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea are reportedly among the admirers, alongside Brighton & Hove Albion, Ajax and multiple Bundesliga clubs.
Scouts from these teams are said to have made repeated visits to Right to Dream Park to watch the teenager in action.
Despite the growing attention, Nordsjaelland have no intention of selling the player in January, nor is a move on Amoako Junior’s agenda.
However, when the time eventually comes, the Ghanaian is expected to command a massive fee, potentially joining the likes of Ernest Nuamah and Sindre Walle Egeli as one of the most expensive sales in Superliga history.
