2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 19 Match Preview – Heart of Lions vs. Eleven Wonders

Both Heart of Lions and Eleven Wonders will be desperate for a win when they clash at the Kpando Sports Stadium for their Ghana Premier League Match Week 19 fixture on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Heart of Lions started the season promisingly but have since dipped in form. Bashiru Hayford’s team now sit ninth in the league standings with 24 points after an eight-match winless run (W0 D3 L5).

Pressure continues to mount on Hayford who will be keen for his side to secure all three points in a bid to turn things around.

The hosts have lost twice at their home grounds this term with those defeats coming against the top two teams in the league table.

Lions beat Eleven Wonders 4-1 back in September but both teams are different now.

Wonders remain rooted to the bottom of the league standings but only secured their second win of the campaign last weekend against Basake Holy Stars.

That victory was preceded by a brilliant display against defending champions Gold Stars despite losing in that game.

The visitors are playing differently now and could pose problems for Lions unless the hosts are more lethal in front of goal.
