Black Stars step up training intensity ahead of Austria friendly

The Black Stars returned to the training pitch on Wednesday, stepping up preparations ahead of their international friendly against Austria on Friday.

All 25 players in camp took part in the session in Vienna, each aiming to impress the technical team as competition for places intensifies.

Head coach Otto Addo oversaw a high-intensity workout at the Austria Football School pitch, with the squad sharpening both tactical and physical aspects of their game.

The session marked a step up in preparations as Ghana fine-tune plans for the encounter at the Ernst Happel Stadium on March 27, 2026.

The friendly forms part of Ghana’s build-up to the 2026 World Cup, with the team set to face another test against Germany in the coming days.
