Prince Amoako Junior shines with assist in Nordsjælland's win against Brøndby IF

Ghanaian attacker Prince Amoako Junior delivered a decisive assist as Nordsjælland battled from behind to beat Brøndby IF 2–1 in the Superligaen Championship Round at Right to Dream Park.

With the hosts trailing at the break to a Jacob Ambæk strike, Amoako Junior sparked the turnaround early in the second half.

On 59 minutes, he slipped a clever pass into the box for Alexander Lind, who finished calmly to bring Nordsjælland level and swing momentum their way. The home side kept pushing and were rewarded late on when Ibrahim Adel struck in the 88th minute, completing a hard-fought comeback in front of an ecstatic home crowd.

Amoako Junior’s creative display continues an impressive 2025/26 Superligaen campaign in which he has made 24 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists so far. His influence from the left continues to grow, marking him out as one of Nordsjælland’s key attacking outlets.

Nordsjælland now turn their focus to another big test on Friday when they travel to face AGF in the next round of the Championship Playoff.
