GPL: We are motivated to beat Kotoko - Bechem Utd midfielder Isaiah Nyarko

Bechem United midfielder Isaiah Nyarko has indicated that the team is geared up for a win against giants Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.

The Hunters are travelling to Kumasi and will battle the Porcupine Warriors in a Week 16 fixture of the 2025/26 league campaign on Sunday, December 28.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Isaiah Nyarko said Bechem United are in good spirits after winning back-to-back matches in their last two games.

Insisting that the pressure on the team has now reduced, the midfielder said the players are now full of confidence heading into the next fixture against Asante Kotoko.

“We thank God for our two wins in the last two matches. There was pressure on the team, but the pressure has reduced since we won the two games.

“We are all motivated, and we are confident we can secure a good result. We plead with the fans to come and support us so that we can pick at least a point,” Isaiah Nyarko told Bechem United TV.

The Week 16 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Bechem United will kick off at 3:30 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
