Semper Fi fight back for late draw with Inter Allies

Semper Fi FC fought back to earn a 1-1 draw against Inter Allies FC in Division One Zone Three at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Semper Fi had to come from behind after conceding in the 24th minute through an own goal by Donee Adabla, but they showed resilience to stay in the game and push for a result.

Their efforts were rewarded late on when Abdulai Salifu struck in the 84th minute to secure a point.

The result keeps Semper Fi second on the table with 43 points from 24 matches. They now trail leaders Port City FC by 12 points with six games remaining, making the title race increasingly unlikely.

Attention now shifts to finishing strongly and hoping Port City drop points in the closing weeks to keep their promotion hopes alive.

Semper Fi’s next fixture will be at home in Teshie against Hakla SC.

Consistency will be crucial in the run-in, as they look to maintain their position and stay within reach should an opportunity arise.
