Playground Productions and Mega Cat Studios dropped a massive update for Backyard Baseball today, as the Mega Patch brings in a ton of improvements.   • Modern mode's pitch-tracking now escalates in speed and movement as difficulty rises.

• Deeper League Play (one of the most-requested features from the most active community members) — the game now includes extensive stats, including League Leaders, MVPs, full team statistics, simulated seasons, and a living league that builds around you. More personality, more chaos — new unforced errors, additional voice lines, and each kid's unique strengths and quirks are on full display through gameplay on the field

  • Through voice lines on the bench, the card collection systems, in-game walk-ups, and gameplay, fans can experience the charming and humorous personalities that are a hallmark of the Backyard franchise
• A big stability and accessibility pass — including new toggles for features like Misophonia audio setting, on top of existing options like colorblind mode and dyslexic-friendly fonts
