Arsenal have completed a deal to sign former Leeds goalkeeper, Illan Meslier, as a free agent.

Meslier has now undergone his medicals and put pen to paper on a contract with the Premier League winners.

The Frenchman will now provide competition for David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “Illan Meslier to Arsenal, here we go! Medical already done and deal sealed with former Leeds United goalkeeper.

“Contract also signed after medical done in London on Tuesday.

“Meslier said yes to #AFC project, as @gunnerblog reported.”
