NWFL: Nasarawa Amazons coach demands improvement from players

by · Daily Post

Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, has urged his players to improve on their performance following the slim win over Remo Stars Ladies.

The Amazons beat Remo Stars Ladies 1-0 at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.

The decisive moment came late in the game when Alani Jumoke calmly converted an 87th-minute penalty, securing all three points for Nasarawa Amazons.

Danjuma commended the players for their effort in the victory.

“We are working hard to improve, especially in converting our chances from open play,” Danjuma told Nasarawa Amazons media.

Danjuma admitted that they missed the services of their key players in the game.

”It hasn’t been easy, particularly with some key attackers unavailable, but the team showed resilience.”

Nasarawa Amazons moved to second position on the NWFL table after the win.
