EPL: Shearer gives Arsenal title warning after 3-0 defeat to Brighton
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostNewcastle United striker, Alan Shearer, has warned Arsenal over producing another poor performance after they lost 3-0 to Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
The thrashing in the hands of the Seagulls ended the Gunners’ perfect start to this season.
Goals from Pascal Gross and Charalampos Kostoulas put the hosts 2-0 up in the first half, before Chema Andres headed in the third goal in the 57th minute.
The result saw Arsenal drop into second place with Manchester City to host Sunderland on Sunday.

City now can open a three-point gap at the top of the table with victory over the Black Cats.
“I would say there’s no panic because after five games last season, Arsenal had ten points,” Shearer said on Match of the Day.
“After five games this season, they’ve got 12 points.
“But that performance can’t happen too many times, if again.”
