Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo, has blamed missed chances for his team’s narrow defeat to Katsina United.

The Ikon Allah Boys suffered a 1-0 defeat to Katsina United at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina on Saturday.

Garba Abdulraman scored the only goal of the game.

Dogo insisted that his team must improve on converting their chances in subsequent matches.

“This is what happens in football when you don’t take your chances,” Dogo reacted in a post-match interview.

“They got their chance and utilised it, but we had even clearer opportunities and couldn’t convert any of them.

“Sometimes, you can attribute this to ill luck, but we need to improve, particularly in terms of taking our chances.

“Overall, it was a very good game from both sides.”
