Uzoho claims first Cypriot title with Omonia Nicosia

Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has won the 2025/26 Cypriot First Division title with Omonia Nicosia, DAILY POST reports.

Omonia Nicosia claimed the title after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Aris Limassol.

It marks the first time Uzoho has won the title with Omonia since joining the club in 2021.

The Shamrock ended their five-year title drought, having last tasted success on the domestic scene in 2021.

Uzoho, who is the club’s second choice shot stopper, made five league appearances this season, keeping three clean sheets and conceding thrice.

Omonia will compete in the UEFA Champions League next season.

They will start the competition from the second qualifying round.
