2026 Ballon d’Or: Dembele names two players who should share award

Paris Saint-Germain winger, Ousmane Dembele, has joked that he would love to share the Ballon d’Or with his team mate, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.

In an interview with BBC Sport, Dembele hailed Kvaratskhelia as a “dazzling and incredible” player who has proven himself.

The two PSG forwards have been included in the 30-man nominees’ shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d’Or

Kvaratskhelia and Dembele both won the Ligue 1 title and Champions League in the year under review.

Dembele has now come up with an amusing compromise to ensure neither PSG star leaves the upcoming ceremony feeling disappointed.

“The Ballon d’Or? We’ll just cut it in half,” he said.
