EPL: Fulham ready to hand Bassey new deal

Bassey has one year remaining on his contract with the London club.
Fulham can also trigger a one-year extension which would extend his stay at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2028.
According to TEAMtalk, the Cottagers are planning to offer the centre-back a new long-term contract that will secure his future.

The 26-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
Bassey joined Fulham from Eredivisie giants Ajax in July 2023.
The versatile defender, who won the club’s Player of the Season award in 2024/25, has started all three Premier League games under new manager Álvaro Arbeloa this season.
Bassey has made 105 appearances across all competitions for Fulham since his arrival at the club.
