by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostFormer France defender, Bacary Sagna, has backed Paris Saint-Germain forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.
Sagna picked Kvaratskhelia ahead of his fellow Frenchman Kylian Mbappe.
The former Arsenal and Manchester City defender was asked directly whether Mbappe would be a deserving recipient of the award.
Although Sagna included Mbappe in his top three, he stated that Kvaratskhelia should win the individual award next month.
