Manchester City are now clear at the top of the Premier League table, thanks to a thrilling 5-3 victory over Sunderland on Sunday.

Enzo Maresca’s men watched on Saturday as Arsenal were thrashed 3-0 at Brighton.

The result gave City a chance to establish a gap between themselves and the champions.

Enzo Fernandez opened the scoring for City with a clever free-kick, before Brian Brobbey levelled for Sunderland.

Antoine Semenyo scored twice to make City’s lead comfortable, before Brobbey completed his hat-trick.

Erling Haaland then made the result certain as they went three points clear of Arsenal.
