Ballon d’Or 2026: ‘He had a tremendous season’ – Roy Makaay names player to win award

According to Makaay, Kane had a tremendous season with both Bayern Munich and the Three Lions.
Kane scored 61 goals in 51 appearances for Bayern Munich last season and also scored six goals for England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“If Harry Kane wins it [Ballon d’Or], he deserves it, because the season he had was tremendous,” Makaay told Bulinews.

“The Ballon d’Or is also a matter of taste. I think there are several players in the running, but Kane is one of the main contenders.
“I would love for him to win it, but we will have to see in October.”
