AFCON: Walid Regragui names special player in Morocco team, makes two demands

He also called on the Atlas Lions players to show respect and maintain humility towards other teams as they progress to the last-4 of the AFCON.
Regragui was speaking to reporters at his post-match interview following Morocco’s deserved 2-0 triumph against Cameroon in the last-8 of the AFCON encounter on Frida night.
Recall that Brahim Diaz and Ismael Saibari scored the goals for the AFCON host against the Indomitable Lions.
Morocco will now clash with the winner between Algeria and Nigeria in the AFCON last-4.
“Diaz is a special footballer. I congratulate him for his performances [for Morocco],” Regragui stated after the match.
“We [Atlas Lions] must remain humble because all team wants to beat us [in this AFCON], and we must respect all our opponents.”
