NNL: Crown FC appoint Akande new technical adviser

Fatai Akande has been appointed the new technical adviser of Nigeria National League, NNL, side Crown FC, DAILY POST reports.

The Oyo State commissioner for sports, Wasilat Adegoke confirmed the new tactician’s appointment on Tuesday.

Akande’s appointment is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the team’s structure and performance ahead of the 2026-27 season.

He comes into the role with a reputation for discipline and grassroots development.

Akande will be tasked with rebuilding the squad, improving results, and establishing a winning culture at the club. 

Crown FC missed out on a promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, last season.
