2026 U-20 WWC: Falconets bow out after slim defeat to Colombia

Nigeria’s Falconets have been eliminated from the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup following a 1-0 defeat to Colombia in Lodz on Sunday.

Tumininu Adeshina also forced a save from Luisa Agudelo.

The pattern of play continued after the break with Nigeria piling pressure on the Colombian defence.

Momentum however shifted towards Colombia after Kafayat Mafisere was sent off in the 77th minute.
