Transfer: Real Madrid ready to complete world-record €223m deal for Olise

by · Daily Post

Real Madrid is preparing a world-record €223 million (£192m/$255m) bid for Bayern Munich star Michael Olise, Goal reports.

President of the LaLiga club, Florentino Perez, wants to secure the winger to headline a new generation of ‘Galacticos’.

If the transfer is completed, the massive deal would shatter the current all-time transfer record held by Paris Saint-Germain, when they landed Neymar in a €222m move from Barcelona.

Olise is believed to be keen on playing for Madrid.

The France international is at the World Cup with his country and has already provided five assists.

After the tournament, he is expected to hold talks with Bayern over his future, amid fears he could request to leave.
