LaLiga: People are talking about Diomande’s €140 transfer fee – Mbappe

Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe, has called for Yan Diomande to be protected from critics.

Diomande became Madrid’s record signing, after arriving from RB Leipzig in a €140m deal.

However, the Ivorian is yet to score for the LaLiga giants and has not exactly set the league on fire.

But Mbappe is adamant that Diomande has the quality to succeed with Los Blancos.

“You can clearly see the quality! We will try to protect him,” Mbappe told AS.

“People talk a lot during matches, about the €140 million transfer fee and all that.

“He has already shown that he has what it takes.”
