2026 U-20 WWC: Aduku predicts Super Falcons future for Falconets standouts

Falconets head coach Moses Aduku believes several of his players will progress to the Super Falcons.

Aduku’s girls have made a big impression at the competition, recovering from their slow start to secure a place in the quarter-finals.

Captain Christianah Uzoma played a crucial role in the Round of 16 victory over England’s Young Lionesses.

The goalkeeper denied Rachel Maltby from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute.

Aduku stated that there will be a smooth transition for the players to the senior side.

“I think the girls are doing well. We need to do more,” Aduku told FIFA.

“There is going to be a transition to the senior national team from this junior side. So they really need to apply themselves, this is just the platform.”
