by · Daily Post

Spain winger, Lamine Yamal, has insisted that Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo and Brazil forward, Neymar are key figures for his generation.

Yamal said this while wishing both Ronaldo and Neymar the best in their careers after the duo was recently eliminated from the World Cup.

The Barcelona star spoke to Mundo Deportivo ahead of Spain’s World Cup quarter-final clash with Belgium on Friday.

“Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar have been key figures for my generation since we were kids.

“I wish them all the best,” Yamal stated.

Ronaldo and Neymar failed to lead Portugal and Brazil to qualify for the World Cup quarter-final stage after losing to Spain and Norway, respectively, in the Round of 16.
