NPFL: Kolimba rallies Niger Tornadoes’ teammates ahead Kun Khalifat FC clash

Niger Tornadoes goalkeeper, Alladoum Kolimba has urged his teammates to give their all as they seek to end their five-match winless run in the Nigeria Premier Football League,NPFL, when they host Kun Khalifat FC on Sunday.

The Ikon Allah Boys have struggled for results in recent league outings and will be desperate to return to winning ways against a Kun Khalifat side they are yet to defeat.

Kolimba, who recently returned from international duty, called for maximum concentration and determination from the squad ahead of the important encounter.

“We will not take the game for granted. We must fight and work hard to achieve the maximum points,” Kolimba told the club’s media.

Niger Tornadoes were forced to settle for a draw in their last home meeting with Kun Khalifat. Abba Khalid gave the hosts the lead, but the visitors responded to earn a share of the points.

The two sides will meet for the third time on Sunday, with Tornadoes still searching for their first win against Kun Khalifat. The Ikon Allah Boys lost 2-0 in the reverse fixture last season.
