Transfer: Chelsea confirm Geovany Quenda’s arrival as Arsenal secure Reuteler’s signature
by Don Silas · Daily PostChelsea on Wednesday confirmed the arrival of Geovany Quenda to Stamford Bridge from Sporting Lisbon.
In a statement via its website, the Blues disclosed that Quenda signed a contract with the Premier League west London club until 2034.
Chelsea and Sporting Lisbon had agreed to the transfer deal of Quenda in March 2025.
Reacting after joining Chelsea, Quenda, who can play in attacking wide positions and wing-back, expressed excitement.
The 19-year-old said, “It feels great to be here. “Chelsea is a great team, and I am excited to play here at Stamford Bridge.”
Meanwhile, in another development, Arsenal announced the signing of midfielder Géraldine Reuteler on a permanent deal.
Reuteler joined Arsenal after leaving Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Reacting, the 27-year-old Switzerland international said via Arsenal’s website, “I want to add to the history and success of this football club, and I’m looking forward to walking out at the Emirates in front of all our supporters.”
