Atletico Madrid star, Ademola Lookman, has named the two toughest players he has ever faced in his career so far.

Lookman has played against several top defenders across Europe during his time in England, Germany, Italy and now Spain.

The 28-year-old has played for clubs like Everton, Leicester City, Atalanta, RB Leipzig, Fulham and Charlton Athletic.

However, in a recent interview with ESPN FC, Lookman was asked to name the toughest player he ever faced.

Lookman admitted that a few players had given him the hardest time and ultimately named Chelsea captain Reece James and Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk.

The Nigerian international simply said, “There are a few, Reece James, I would say Van Dijk.”

Lookman has been impressive for Atletico Madrid since joining the club from Atalanta a few months ago and will hope to lead them to beat Arsenal in the Champions League semi-final second leg encounter slated for Tuesday.
