Carabao Cup: He couldn’t pass ball to his teammate – Redknapp slams Man Utd star

Former Liverpool midfielder, Jamie Redknapp, has slammed Manchester United striker, Joshua Zirkzee following the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup defeat to Brighton on Wednesday.

Redknapp insisted that Zirkzee could not pass the ball to his teammate during the encounter at Old Trafford.

Man United surrendered a two-goal advantage to lose 3-2 against Brighton to exit the competition.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Redknapp said, “United threw on their insurance policy in Bruno and Mainoo. Everyone thought they might be able to make an impact, and in fact, it made them worse.
