Transfer: Coventry City reach agreement with Nottingham Forest for Awoniyi

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano announced the deal on X on Saturday.
He wrote, “EXCLUSIVE: Coventry City agree deal to sign Taiwo Awoniyi from Nottingham Forest, here we go!”
“Club to club agreement done, permanent move and I also understand medical is now ongoing. New striker for Frank Lampard.”
The 29-year-old joins his international teammate, Frank Onyeka at Coventry City.
Awoniyi linked up with Nottingham Forest from Bundesliga outfit, Union Berlin in 2022.
He struggled for regular playing time at the City Ground last season, scoring four times, and providing one assist in 17 league appearances.
