Transfer: Vardy’s return to English football confirmed
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostJamie Vardy has returned to English football after signing a one-year contract with Burnley.
The 39-year-old left Italian side Cremonese as a free agent agent this summer.
Vardy previously played for Leicester City in England and won the Premier League title with the Foxes.
He is still Leicester’s record goalscorer in the topflight with 145 goals in 13 seasons.

Vardy will now continue his storied career with the Clarets, who are competing in the Championship.
Burnley were relegated from the Premier League last season and sit rock bottom of the second tier of English football, having failed to win any of their opening five matches.
