NNL: Nikyu appointed Lobi Stars’ technical adviser

Lobi Stars have appointed Bala Nikyu as their new technical adviser ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League, NNL, season, DAILY POST reports.

Nikyu has been tasked with guiding the Makurdi club back to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The experienced tactician has managed several top Nigerian clubs, including Wikki Tourists, Plateau United, and Gombe United.

On the international scene, the experienced tactician has also managed Nigeria’s U-17 side, Flamingos.

Nikyu’s experience will be vital as Lobi Stars seek a return to the top-flight.

Lobi Stars were relegated from the NPFL in the 2024/25 season.

The Alia Boys narrowly missed out on promotion from the NNL last term.
