Transfer: Monaco CEO opens door for Pogba exit after disappointing season
by Don Silas · Daily PostMonaco CEO, Thiago Scuro, has opened the door for Paul Pogba’s exit after hinting that the midfielder could leave the French Ligue 1 club this summer.
Scuro admitted that Pogba’s project has not worked out since the France World Cup winner joined Monaco last year.
When asked if the former Manchester United star could leave Monaco ahead of the new season, Scuro told Get French Football News, “Yes, of course.
“Maybe he will leave, maybe he will stay. It is a very complicated issue. We have a lot of respect for him as a person first and foremost.
“When he arrived here, he was very positive; he helped the young players. But the truth is also that the project [with him] didn’t work well last season.”
