NPFL: Ashifat targets Kwara United improvement next season
by Taiwo Adesanya · Daily PostKwara United technical adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has assured that his team will improve on last season’s performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The Harmony Boys managed to maintain their top-flight status last term.
Suleiman promised that the team will get it right with the recruitment of good players in the upcoming season.
“Las season was a bit tough for the team as it got to a stage that it looked like we can’t escape the drop but later the team picked up,” Suleiman stated in a chat with the media.
“We have learned a lot from last season, what we want to do is to pick positives from our performance last term.
“We want to strengthen our team and correct all the lapses to get a better team with the right recruitment this season.”
DAILY POST reports that Kwara United commenced pre-season training for the 2026-27 season on Monday.
