CAF Confederation Cup: El-Kanemi Warriors off to Bissau for UDIB clash
by Taiwo Adesanya · Daily PostEl-Kanemi Warriors have departed the country for the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round clash against UDIB of Guinea-Bissau.
The players and officials travelled to Bissau from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on Friday.
The second leg is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau.
El-Kanemi Warriors defeated UDIB 3-0 in the first leg at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

The Borno Army are in a good position to secure a place in the second leg preliminary round after the first leg victory.
DAILY POST recalls that El-Kanemi Warriors were knocked out by Beninoise side, Dadje FC, in the first preliminary round of the competition in 2024.
