South Africa picked up their first win after seeing off Guinea 2-1 at the Orlando Stadium.

Bafana Bafana opened the scoring through Ime Okon after a ball into the box was diverted into his path by Sphephelo Sithole.

Seydouba Cissé equalized for the visitors, before Samukele Kabini scored the winning goal.

In the other game of the day, Kenya played out a 1-1 draw with Eritrea.

Eritrea had taken the lead through Nahom Girmai Netabay in the 36th minute, before Ryan Ogam’s late goal salvaged a point for Harambee Stars.
