UECL: Glasner hails Uche’s stunning strike vs KuPS
by Mike Oyebola · Daily PostCrystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner has thumbed up Christantus Uche’s stunning strike in the club’s stalemate with Finnish side KuPS.
The Eagles held the visitors to a 2-2 draw in the UEFA Europa Conference League encounter at the Selhurst Park on Thursday night.
Uche opened scoring for the London club with a superb effort from outside the box after five minutes.
It was the Nigeria international’s second goal in the competition for Palace.
Glasner praised the the midfielder for his contribution.
“I was pleased with the performance especially of the youngsters. Of course, fantastic goal from Uche, and then we could see we lost a little bit of structure for ten to fifteen minutes, and you get three finishes at the end and score two goals,” Glasner told TNT Sports.
Uche is on loan at Palace from Spanish club, Getafe.
