World Cup 2026: What I like about France team – Thierry Henry
by Don Silas · Daily PostArsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has revealed what he likes about the France team at the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament.
Speaking on Fox Sports after France defeated Sweden 3-0 in the Round of 32 encounter, Henry said he likes how Didier Deschamps’ side is solid and balanced.
The Frenchman also predicted that France’s World Cup Round of 16 clash against Paraguay would be difficult.
“Now, it’s going to be Paraguay, I have been there before in 1998, you know how difficult it is to play against Paraguay,” Henry said.
“So it would be going to be difficult, but what I like about this French team is how they are solid and balanced.”
France will face Paraguay in the Round of 16 this weekend after both teams eliminated Sweden and Germany, respectively, in the last-32 stage.
