Spokesperson for the National Lottery, Sarah Orr, said that the lottery is encouraging all of their players in the capital to “carefully check their tickets today as one player now holds the title of second Lotto jackpot winner of 2026″.

She added that the Westmeath had five matching numbers and the bonus in the main draw.

“Over 101,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Plus draws on Saturday night, including the Dublin and the Westmeath winners.

“The two biggest winners of the night are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe. They should contact the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery headquarters to collect their prizes,” Orr added.

The Lottery said it has a range of safeguarding measures in place to protect players both online and in-store.
