Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 113.05 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 feet) with an inflow of 108 cusecs and a discharge of 300 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 58.40 feet (maximum level 71 feet) with an inflow of 112 cusecs and a discharge of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 2,321.22 mcft. Chittampatti recorded a rainfall of 5.4 mm in 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Monday.
