Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 129.05 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 feet) with an inflow of 536 cusecs and a discharge of 1,400 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 64.40 ft. (full level 71 feet) with an inflow of 1,527 cusecs and a discharge of 1,499 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 6,421.43 mcft. Rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Tuesday was (in mm): Andipatti 1.6, Viraganur 0.2.
