Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight time: UK start time and how to watch

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will finally meet in the ring on Friday night after their fight was delayed by four months when the heavyweight legend suffered a medical emergency

Mike Tyson will take to the ring for his first professional boxing fight in almost 20 years - against YouTuber Jake Paul.

Tyson's last outing in the professional ranks saw him quit on his stool after five rounds of his fight with Kevin McBride in 2000. He went on to have an exhibition bout with fellow legend Roy Jones Jr in 2020 with the fight scored a predictable draw after eight less-than-exciting rounds.

Paul fought on that same card as he knocked out NBA star Nate Robinson before going on to embark on his own boxing career which has seen him win 10 of his 11 fights to date. Later this week, he will walk to the ring in front of up to 80,000 fans at the AT&T Stadium for one of the most controversial fights in boxing history - and here is everything you need to know...

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will actually fight on Friday; words many boxing fans thought - or hoped - they would never hear. The rivals will meet over eight two-minute rounds and wear 14oz gloves which makes their bout more of an exhibition bout than then professional contest they are advertising.

Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano

The best fight on the card by some distance as Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano renew their rivalry two years on from their classic first encounter. Taylor edged out her rival that night at Madison Square Garden after a back-and-forth barnburner. The Irishwoman has fought a higher calibre of opposition since and puts her four world titles on the line.

Neeraj Goyat vs Whindersson Nunes

A bizarre clash between professional fighter Neeraj Goyat and social media star Whindersson Nunes which can surely only end in one way. Nunes has been competing on the influencer boxing scene and has fought opponents of a much lower quality than Goyat who has been linked with a bout against Jake Paul.

Mario Barrios vs Abel Ramos

The second world title fight on the card with the WBC welterweight strap on the line. Barrios was upgraded to 'full champion' due to doubts over whether Terence Crawford will remain at the weight to defend his belt. Ramos will start as the underdog having won just one of his last three fights.

Shadasia Green vs Melinda Watpool

Shadasia Green, a stablemate of Jake Paul's, will fight for a world title for the second time in a year tonight. She fell short against Franchon Crews Dezurn but returned this year with a win over Natasha Spence, the same opponent Melinda Watpool fought, and defeated, in her last outing.

Lucas Bahdi vs Armando Casamonica

Lucas Bahdi made his name last time out by knocking out Ashton Sylve in a stunning come-from-behind victory. He was due to take on Corey Marksman on Friday night but Marksman was forced to pull out injured and was replaced by Armando Casamonica who is also unbeaten, winning each of his 14 fights.

Bruce Carrington vs Dana Coolwell

Featherweight Bruce Carrington will attempt to steal the show as he continues on his projected road to success. He has stopped eight of his 13 opponents and should have too much for Dana Coolwell who has lost two of his 15 fights - but both defeats came against undefeated opponents.

Quotes corner

Mike Tyson: "You don't know how old you are. Somebody told you how old you are. Julius Caesar had a big ego, he wanted an extra month so he said 'I'm going to create July'. So really, how old are you? These people are creating months and years to make people a certain particular age, you don't really know how old you are. I don't know how old I am. People design their own calendar, so we don't know how old we are. We know what people tell us how old we are. We know what people tell us what age we should be retired by this age. That's what they tell us! Our man's biggest downfall is to believe we have limitations and that's what we do, we believe we're a certain amount of age."

Jake Paul: "It's been going amazing. Intense camp. I'm sparring 300lb guys back-to-back. So my body is aching, my bones are sore. They punch a lot harder and just wrestling with them in the ring and sparring is very difficult, but on November 15 I'm going to be prepared. We've trained hard to make the fight easy."
