by · The Mirror

Jake Paul will have the chance to knock out Mike Tyson this week when the rivals touch gloves in Texas.

YouTuber Paul has gone from content creator to professional boxer over the last four years, winning 10 of his 11 fights with his sole defeat coming against Tommy Fury last year. He has padded his record largely by fighting former MMA stars including Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz - and it remains to be seen what kind of challenge a 58-year-old Tyson will offer.

The former undisputed heavyweight world champion has not fought professionally for almost 20 years since he retired on his stool five rounds into his fight with Kevin McBride. And as we approach fight night, here is everything you need to know about the fight card for Tyson's return to the ring...

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson

Four months later than originally planned, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will walk to the ring on Friday night to settle one of the more bizarre rivalries in boxing. The fight was first mooted several years ago but nobody in the sport thought it would materialise given the 31-year age gap between the two combatants. But Paul and Tyson reached a deal after Netflix expressed their interest in entering the combat sports arena.

Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano meet again two years after their thrilling first fight became an instant classic. Taylor was given the nod that night at Madison Square Garden and the pair appeared set for an immediate rematch. But a deal could not be struck and the women went their own way before being brought back together on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson undercard. The fight will be for Taylor's four super-lightweight world titles.

Neeraj Goyat vs Whindersson Nunes

Brazilian social media sensation Whindersson Nunes makes his professional boxing debut after a stint on the influencer boxing scene. Nunes has fought five times, winning just two of those bouts and was most recently outpointed by My Mate Nate over 12 months ago. In India's Neeraj Goyat on Friday night, Nunes will face a much more experienced boxer who can count former world title challenger Jose Zepeda among his former opponents.

Mario Barrios vs Abel Ramos

Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos clash for the WBC welterweight world title tonight in one of the major supporting acts at the AT&T Stadium. Barrios became the interim champion last year when he outpointed Yordenis Ugas before defending the belt against Fabian Andres Maidana. He was then promoted to 'full' champion when Terence Crawford was named 'champion in recess'. Ramos has won only one of this last three fights, a stoppage success over Juan Ramon Guzman.

Shadasia Green vs Melinda Watpool

Jake Paul's stablemate Shadasia Green has her second chance to win a world title on Friday when she takes on the unbeaten Melinda Watpool. Green lost her challenge for a super-middleweight belt last year when she was outpointed by Franchon Crews Dezurn but bounced back with a points win over Natasha Spence this summer. Watpool has won each of her seven fights, and also beet Spence in her last outing.

Lucas Bahdi vs Armando Casamonica

Undefeated Lucas Bahdi is riding the crest of a wave after knocking out Jake Paul prodigy Ashton Sylve in a stunning upset in July. He was due to fight Corey Marksman this week but the American pulled out injured just over a week before the first bell, with Armando Casamonica stepping in. Casamonica has won each of his 14 fights to date, stopping just three of his opponents.

Bruce Carrington vs Dana Coolwell

Rising star Bruce Carrington will attempt to enhance his burgeoning reputation when he puts his unbeaten record on the line on Friday night. The featherweight has been hailed as a world champion in-waiting after a string of impressive performances, recording eight stoppages from his 13 professional fights. Dana Coolwell has won 13 of his 15 bouts in the paid ranks with his two defeats coming against unbeaten opponents.
