The grandson of Black Sabbath legend and Aston Villa fan Ozzy Osbourne was among the mascots as the club took on Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. Sidney, the son of Ozzy's daughter Kelly, was carried out by Villa captain John McGinn before the match.

Villa paid tribute to Ozzy back in August after the rock star died at the age of 76. He played his final gig at their Villa Park stadium back in July, just weeks before his death.

Following Osbourne's death, Villa paid a tribute of their own. "Aston Villa Football Club is saddened to learn that world-renowned rockstar and Villan, Ozzy Osbourne has passed away," a statement from the club read at the time.

"Growing up in Aston, not far from Villa Park, Ozzy always held a special connection to the club and the community he came from. The thoughts of everyone at Aston Villa are with his wife Sharon, his family, friends, and countless fans at this extremely difficult time. Rest in peace, Ozzy."
