Mikel Arteta saw three more players pick up injuries during Arsenal's Carabao Cup quarter-final victory over Crystal Palace in which the Gunners won on penalties

Arsenal’s penalty-shootout victory over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup quarter-final was the first of three games the Gunners are scheduled to play in just seven days.

With such quick turnarounds, Mikel Arteta will be hoping for as fit a squad as possible as rotation becomes a key component of the busy festive period. The Arsenal boss already had five players sidelined ahead of the clash with the Eagles, but he may now have to navigate further injury concerns following the match.

The Gunners face two consecutive home fixtures in the Premier League to close out 2025. They host Brighton first, with a fiery clash against Aston Villa to follow. Arteta will surely be seeking revenge against Unai Emery's side after their narrow defeat earlier this month, courtesy of an injury-time goal.

With the games coming thick and fast, football.london has gathered the latest news on Arsenal's injury list and when supporters can expect those players to return.

Gabriel Martinelli

The Brazilian international was substituted just before the hour mark after suffering a knock against Palace, with Arteta saying afterward: "Martinelli is more of a knock and he wasn't comfortable to carry on after the second half."

Peiro Hincapie

With Arteta naming a heavily rotated side against Palace, many Arsenal fans expected Piero Hincapie to feature. However, the 23-year-old was omitted from the matchday squad entirely. Despite playing the full 90 minutes against Everton last weekend, he has since picked up an injury that Arteta could only describe as "different."(Image: (Photo by Catherine Ivill - AMA/Getty Images))

Riccardo Calafiori

In the build-up to Palace's late goal through Marc Guehi, Calafiori took a heavy blow to the head. The impact caused the medical staff to rush onto the pitch to assess the defender, who appeared to be pointing toward his eye as the primary area of concern, but he carried on to finish the game.(Image: Arsenal FC via Getty Images)

Cristhian Mosquera

Cristhian Mosquera was forced off in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Brentford earlier this month and has since been ruled out for the remainder of the festive period with an ankle injury. Ben White

The English defender had only recently been reintegrated into the squad before suffering a hamstring injury early in Arsenal's clash with Wolves. Now, Ben White will face the challenge of fighting his way back into the starting XI once he returns to full fitness.(Image: (Photo by Catherine Ivill - AMA/Getty Images))

Gabriel

The Brazilian international has been one of the most significant losses for Arteta during this injury-hit period. He picked up the muscle problem in November during an international friendly between Brazil and Senegal. Kai Havertz

Mikel Arteta has made it clear that he will not rush Kai Havertz back into the squad after the German underwent knee surgery. Havertz sustained the injury during Arsenal’s opening game of the season against Manchester United and has been sidelined ever since.(Image: Arsenal FC via Getty Images)

Max Dowman

The 15-year-old star is due to miss a few weeks of football after sustaining a knee injury earlier this month. He has made five appearance for the first team this campaign and will be hoping to gain more later in the season.(Image: James Fearn/Getty Images)
