Mikel Arteta watches on in frustration as Arsenal drop points against Everton.

Arsenal next five fixtures compared to Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Chelsea after Everton draw

by · football.london

Arsenal returned to Premier League action with a 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.

Leandro Trossard scored the only goal for the visitors in the first half before Everton went on to equalise shortly after the break. Myles Lewis-Skelly gave away a penalty for a foul on Jack Harrison.

Despite five shots on target, the Gunners had to settle for a point. The result has given Liverpool another huge boost to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Arne Slot's side will play Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday (2pm) while Chelsea are away at Brentford. Manchester City will also be in action, facing rivals Manchester United in the Manchester derby (4.30pm).

Nottingham Forest on the other hand, will look to close the gap to three points to Arsenal, when they play Aston Villa away from home on Saturday evening (5.30pm).
