Arsenal will face Crystal Palace in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup but will have some players on the sidelines

Both Arsenal and Crystal Palace are expected to have players on the sidelines when they meet in the Carabao Cup this evening.

The Gunners will host the Eagles at the Emirates Stadium in the quarter-final clash of the Carabao Cup as they look to book a place in the semi-final.

A win for Mikel Arteta's side would see Arsenal take on Chelsea in the semi-final of the competition, which will take place over the course of two legs in the New Year.

Arsenal go into the game having beaten Everton 1-0 in the Premier League at the weekend, and Arteta looks set to be handed at least one fitness boost for the fixture.

However, both Arsenal and Palace are still dealing with several injury concerns that will force some players to miss the cup tie.

Kai Havertz has handed Arsenal a boost in recent days, but there are still question marks over the Germany international's future as the clash against Palace approaches.
