Zubimendi, White, Gabriel - Latest Arsenal injury news and return dates ahead of Everton

Latest Arsenal injuries and return dates as Mikel Arteta provides updates on Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, Martin Zubimendi and Kai Havertz ahead of Everton clash

Arsenal continue their quest for the Premier League title this weekend when they travel to Everton. Victory will maintain the Gunners' control at the top of the table over Christmas.

And manager Mikel Arteta has had a rare, full week to prepare for the trip to the club he formerly played for, as Arsenal had no midweek matches to contest.

Such an opportunity has allowed players who weren't injured to take well-earned rests, meanwhile those who have suffered damage over the course of the season have been afforded time to try and prepare themselves for Everton.

On Friday morning Arteta sat down with the media for his pre-match press conference, where he revealed all that he was willing to about the condition of his players.

Ben White

Arteta confirmed Ben White is ruled out of the trip to Everton following his latest injury, which happened last weekend against Wolves.
But, the manager is hopeful the defender could return swiftly around the end of the month, or the start of 2026.
"Yeah, he's out, he's evolving well, it's not a major injury, but it will keep him out for a few games, I think.
"I don't think it's going to be [his hamstring] and Ben is a really fast healer as well so there's hope that we're going to have him in the next few games."(Image: Catherine Ivill - AMA/Getty Images)

Gabriel Magalhaes

Giving an update on Gabriel Magalhaes, Arteta added: "He's pushing hard as he always does every time he's out and he's evolving really well, he's doing pitch sessions so he's not too far, we have to see in the last stages of that rehab how he progresses but we are quite positive about him."
The defender could therefore be eyeing a return in a similar timeframe as White.

Martin Zubimendi

Fears over Martin Zubimendi's absence from training earlier this week were quickly stamped out by the boss.
"Yeah, that was load management for a few players that played a lot of minutes recently so that's probably the reason why," said Arteta.
"In the small windows that we have, we make sure that we look after him and he understands that every possibility and every chance that you have to look after yourself."

Kai Havertz

In a positive Kai Havertz update, Arteta stated: "He's progressing really well and quite fast in the last few weeks. We are really positive that if everything continues like that in the next training sessions, he's going to be with us."
However, the boss was not willing to share exactly which match the attacker will make his first appearance since the opening day of the season.
"I do [have a game in mind]. I don't want to say because, again, I think in that last part of, especially after such a long time, that after the rehab, I think we need to be cautious and we need to go really firmly with every step that we take along the way to make sure that when he's back, he's back and he's back for the long term."(Image: Arsenal FC via Getty Images)

Riccardo Calafiori

Arteta did not have anything more to say on Riccardo Calafiori, who is eligible to return against Everton having served a one-game suspension last weekend when missing the action against Wolves.

Cristhian Mosquera

Similarly, there was no further comment on Cristhian Mosquera's condition on Friday morning.
