PlayStation State of Play gets an hour-long showcase this June

Sony's ready to share news about Wolverine and other upcoming PS5 games.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced its summer showcase. Set for June 2, PlayStation State of Play will bring news on Marvel’s Wolverine, as well as updates on other games coming to PS5.

The next PlayStation State of Play was announced in a post to the PlayStation Blog. The presentation will open with a new look at Marvel’s Wolverine. Developed by Insomniac Games, Marvel’s Wolverine is set to launch on September 15, 2026.

Sony has also announced that it partnered with Alamo Drafthouse to broadcast the next PlayStation State of Play in movie theaters in the following American cities:

  • Raleigh
  • Los Angeles
  • San Francisco Bay Area
  • Chicago
  • Dallas/Fort Worth
  • New York City

Tickets are free, but are only available in a limited quantity.
