Last year, Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released the latest version of Virtua Fighter 5, and in early 2026, it’s set to bring REVO World Stage to the Nintendo Switch 2. Sega announced a release date for the Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage to hit the platform, and it’ll be coming in late March.

Sega shared the details of the Nintendo Switch 2 release date for Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage on its social media today. The game will be coming to the Switch 2 on March 26, 2026. Those who want to get a taste of the action can take part in a closed beta coming on February 19, 2026, specifically for the Switch 2. What’s more, it will feature full crossplay support, allowing players from Switch 2 to battle against those on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Of course, this version also includes the new designed rollback netcode and a proper single-player World Stage battle mode.

Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage came to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 on October 30, 2025, marking the cleanest, crispest, and updated version of VF5 so far. Its stylish and responsive combat and the new modes earned it the Shacknews Award for Best Fighting Game of 2025.
